Digital animation artist

The primary skill of an animation artist is to produce the illusion of motion. For this purpose, an animator can learn to operate various animation tools or software.
However, a lot more is required in terms of one’s artistic ability.
Creative skills are mandatory for this field rather than a degree or a short course.
Anyone who wisely utilizes the resources available online can work as a freelancer or a full-tine animator. all you need is practice, experience and an attractive portfolio when you hit the job market.
Responsibilities:
Animation in software packages such as Adobe Flash, 3D Studio Max, Maya , Lightwave, Softimage and Cinema 4D.
Designing models, backgrounds, sets, characters, objects and the animation environment.
To use a range of materials; modeling clay, plaster, oil paints, water colours and acrylic.
To liaison with clients who might not have an art or animation background and developing a script from their concepts.
Preparing storyboards to visualize the script and narrative.
Drawing sketches, artwork or illustration. Developing proper timing and motion graphics during animation and ensuring they follow the soundtrack and audio requirements.
selling ideas and concepts with well prepared presentations.
Pay scale
Entry-level candidates:3,000 to5,000 rupees Two to three year experience: 15,000 to 30,000 rupess senior professionals: 30,000 to 60,000 rupees
